I love this Quote...
The lotus is a flower that grows in the mud...
The thicker and the deeper the mud the more beautiful the lotus blooms.

Vintage Fun!
So...I was taking my girls to the dentist during Spring break.
I look across the street, and I find this great place. It was part vintage
with a little bit of Sanford and Son thrown in. It was on private property,
and the owner graciously allowed me to shoot. Of course he was a character!
The inside of his home was eclectic as the outside.
I had this young guy scheduled and his artistic personality worked great
with the location.
It was the first warm day we got, so I was extra excited to shoot outside.
I love the lingering of snow in this last one.

We are FAMILY!!!!
I had the pleasure of meeting this awesome family.
The 5 siblings wanted to give their parents a memorable
gift to celebrate their upcoming 50th anniversary.
They were a blast. I love the modern feel to these pictures.
Big families are so much fun.
some more shots from the day!
her shoes were to die for!

After Winter comes Spring...
I LOVE SPRING!
It may be my most favorite season.
I love the feeling of rebirth, emergence, renewal...
In the last week I've seen the following "signs" that
Spring is here...
Crocuses and tulips popping thru the earth.
Rain...not snow.
Shadows...because the sun is out.
The kiddos in my neighborhood, riding their bikes
around the cul-de-sac.
My morning walks have been outside again...not on the treadmill.
2 robins...they must be nesting in my yard somewhere.
Small buds forming on the trees.
Watery eyes and stuffy noses.
A long line at the car wash.
Aaahh...I feel it. Spring is in the air
